20th anniversary of the Prestige catastrophe

This Friday, November 11, 2022, the ECOTOX team will participate in a round table for the 20th anniversary of the Prestige catastrophe at the Parador da Costa da Morte (Muxía).

The panel will feature researchers from different disciplines who will bring us closer to the impacts and traces left by the Prestige ship on Galician ecosystems, our economy and the local population.

After the coffee break, a second round table will present first-hand experiences and testimonies from Iñaki Gabilondo, Mercedes Milá, Manolo Rivas and the most relevant social actors who intervened in the Prestige catastrophe, sharing their experiences from organisations, civil protection services, volunteers, and others.
