Podcast interview with Ricardo Beiras

The Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC + i) of the University of Vigo and the scientific dissemination medium GCiencia collaborate in the elaboration and dissemination of a series of podcasts in which University of Vigo researchers explain their work related to the study of the oceans from different perspectives.

GCiencia journalist Laura Veiga spoke on this occasion with CIM professor and Ecotox group coordinator Ricardo Beiras, who explained the LABPLAS project, which aims to evaluate the interactions of plastics with the environment and natural cycles to determine the origins, typology and size of the plastic waste and its route to the marine environment.
